Der Fachbeirat

Dem Fachbeirat gehören außer den gewählten Vertretern der Sektionen (§ 17 Ziffer 6) Persönlichkeiten an, die vom Geschäftsführenden Vorstand für besondere Aufgaben für die Dauer von bis zu drei Jahren bestimmt werden. Hierzu gehören insbesondere Vertreter von Vereinigungen und Vereinen, wie z. B. der Generalsekretär der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Unfallchirurgie und der Generalsekretär der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Chirurgie. Die Fachbeiräte haben Stimmrecht zu den ihnen übertragenen Aufgaben.
